OUTsurance Celebrates R500 Million In Cash OUTbonus Payments
The benefit of
clients managing their risks more carefully
In
the ten years since OUTsurance opened its doors, it has established
itself as a respected and innovative player in the South African
insurance industry.
OUTsurance pioneered the concept of the OUTbonus where clients would
receive a cash payment in the event that they had no insurance
claims for three consecutive years.
This is one of the product fundamentals supporting the company
slogan “You always get something OUT”.
In
this time, OUTsurance has made more than 240,000 OUTbonus payments
to more than 150,000 clients.
Says Ernst Gouws, Managing Director of OUTsurance, “R500 million is
a significant amount to have paid to clients. We have also noted the
benefit of clients managing their risks more carefully in order to
protect their OUTbonuses. This has assisted OUTsurance in keeping
premiums affordable and offer even better value for money.”
Gouws also commented on the interesting things that some clients
spend their OUTbonuses on: “From surprise spa treatments for the
spouse to buying a new kennel for the family pet, we’ve seen it all. We have some really creative customers.”
The
OUTbonus payment that crossed the R500 million mark was an amount of
just over R5 thousand paid to Mr Kriek from Rooihuiskraal who is
thrilled and proud of his claim-free record.
OUTsurance will treat Mr Kriek further with a hamper full of
OUTsurance goodies. Mrs Kriek is clearly a lucky wife since her
husband has generously confirmed that after treating the two of them
to a special evening out, he will be giving her the money “so that
she can spoil herself a bit”.
“OUTsurance is proud to have introduced the cash-back bonus concept
into the South African insurance industry, and we are looking
forward to celebrating paying R1 billion in OUTbonuses soon!”
commented Gouws in closing.
