Insurance Times
& Investments goes monthly
Information for
the financial services professional and the consumer
Insurance Times &
Investments, up until recently a bi-monthly publication, will be
published on a monthly basis from February 2007
"There
is a great need to communicate trends and events occurring within the
financial services industry and editor Nigel Benetton excels at
providing an independent view to benefit both consumers and advisers,"
says Belinda Viret of Cadiz Street Communications.
The magazine,
which aims to further educate financial advisers and assist consumers to
save and prosper, covers all aspects of insurance – from investments,
law and health care to consumer affairs, security and business.
Says Benetton,
“Intermediaries and their markets realise the importance of acquiring
objective, quality information about their businesses. This follows the
introduction of a range of consumer protection measures, the ongoing
establishment of specialist ombudsmen, and stricter legislation to
govern licensing of financial service practitioners.”
The magazine cover
is also undergoing a facelift. The fresher look of the first edition
next year will reflect the publication as a compelling read.
ITInews Online,
the internet counterpart of Insurance Times & Investments, reflects the
increased desire for information from the financial services industry as
the website obtained more than 80 000 page impressions during November.
This reflects an increase in page impressions of almost 40% since July.
“The website
reflects the industry’s latest news as financial services companies have
use of a press office function to immediately publish news releases,”
says Brent Wilson, editor of ITInews Online. “The website provides a
daily communication platform for the Insurance Times & Investments
community. It enjoys a similar audience and encourages dialogue,
learning, and service support while offering additional interactive
features.”
